LBJ Advisors, Ltd. is a multi-generational, family-owned, family wealth management firm serving clients who are seeking long-term advisory services on how to preserve wealth for future generations.

Unlike most investment-related firms, our approach is family-to-family not business-to-consumer. This family-to-family approach includes leveraging for our clients, the Johnson family’s 60 years of personal experience creating, managing, and sustaining wealth.

The Management Team

Faith Vincent (CPWA®, RMA®), Chief Investment Officer / Chief Compliance Officer / Managing Director

Faith Vincent is Chief Investment Officer of LBJ Family Wealth Advisors, Ltd. In 2000, Faith joined what was then LBJ Holding Company as Vice President. She was named Vice President, Chief Investment Officer of LBJ Family Wealth Advisors, Ltd. in 2003, Chief Compliance Officer in 2019 and Managing Director in 2021.

Faith’s responsibilities include working with individual clients and client families to identify and analyze their investment goals. In a collaborative process, Faith guides clients to create an individualized Investment Policy Statement. Faith then creates and manages the investment portfolio with respect to client expectations and long-term goals. Faith meets quarterly with clients to review performance and, as needed, provides educational counsel.

As Chief Compliance Officer of LBJ Family Wealth Advisors, Ltd., Faith directs all activities of the firm to insure compliance with the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 and all applicable U.S. securities laws and regulations. She also coordinates and monitors LBJ Family Wealth Advisors and its representatives’ fiduciary responsibilities to all clients including client confidentiality, access to client information, and adherence to LBJ Family Wealth Advisors’ code of ethics.

Prior to joining LBJ Family Wealth Advisors, Ltd, Faith worked in structured finance of commercial lease assets and education loans at Texas Capital Markets, L.P in Austin, Texas. From 1994 to 1998, Faith’s experience was concentrated in Wall Street investment bank emerging markets’ strategy and trading at firms that included Smith Barney and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

Faith holds a Master of International Business degree with a concentration in finance from the internationally recognized Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, Columbia. She is also a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Faith earned the CPWA (Certified Private Wealth Advisor) designation in 2011. The CPWA designation is delivered by Investment Management Consultants Association® (IMCA®), is the only advanced designation designed for financial advisors and consultants who work with high-net-worth clients on the life cycle of wealth. Faith earned the RMA (Retirement Management Advisor) in 2018. The RMA certification is an advanced professional education and certification program for advisors who desire to serve their clients with the most sophisticated retirement management knowledge.

Faith is a member of the LBJ Family Wealth Advisors Investment Committee, and is a Registered Investment Advisory Representative with the Texas State Securities Board (2005).

Willyn Wahl, Controller / Managing Director

As Vice President / Controller / Managing Director of LBJ Family Wealth Advisors, Ltd., Willyn directs the administrative operations of the firm and is responsible for delivering a superior client service experience for all clients. Part of her responsibilities including ensuring that all transactions are executed for clients in a timely and accurate manner. She is the primary contact for all treasury functions and coordinates all back office functions within the firm.

Willyn is the manager in charge of executing annual audits for independent public accountant audits and examinations. She is the individual in charge of assisting clients with tax preparation and special projects. She joined the LBJ Holding Company in 1991 as a Staff Accountant and was promoted to Assistant Controller in 1993 and Controller in 2003. She was named Vice President / Controller in 2010 and Managing Director in 2021. Willyn meets quarterly with clients to review performance.

Internal administrative functions in payroll processing, network administration, payables processing, regulatory filings, and human resource planning are part of her responsibility. Prior to joining LBJ Holding Company, Willyn had 15 years’ experience in financial reporting for banks and served as a vice-president for finance for a medium-sized regional bank.

In her career Willyn has directed multiple conversions of accounting software and has also been tasked with software integration projects that address administrative accuracy and productivity. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Economics and History from Trinity University in San Antonio and has completed graduate level courses in business and finance.

Willyn is a member of the LBJ Family Wealth Advisors Investment Committee, and is a Registered Investment Advisory Representative with the Texas State Securities Board (2005).

Vera Gebert, Client Service Manager

Vera Gebert joined LBJ Family Wealth Advisors, Ltd. in February 2022. As Client Service Manager, Vera will assist clients with a variety of tasks related to treasury management, account opening, and client reporting.

Prior to joining LBJ Family Wealth Advisors, Ltd., Vera worked for Texas Capital Bank for 22 years as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager in the Austin office. In this capacity she kept the office running smoothly, set up equipment and offices for new hires, scheduled meetings, arranged travel, ordered supplies, and onboarded new employees. Vera also assisted clients with all their customer service needs, such as wires, transfers, research, opening new accounts, closing loans, and many other requests. Prior to working at Texas Capital Bank, Vera was employed for Bank One in the Commercial Lending Department.
